- Seeking an experienced Senior Information Privacy Advisor for an ongoing role.
- VPS Grade 5: $109,730 - $132,764 per annum plus superannuation.

The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) is seeking a Senior Information Privacy Advisor to provide a critical role within Corporate Support and Infrastructure.
About the Business Unit
The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) delivers a justice and community safety system that works to build a safer, fairer and stronger Victoria.
Technology Solutions and Data Security is delivering the Data and Digital Reform Agenda, which focuses on meeting the department's data and digital needs by providing responsive and sustainable services focused on supporting departmental outcomes.
Technology Services and Data Security explores and employs technology to enable the department's business function via the use of modern, appropriate platforms, products and services. It supports enterprise-wide platforms and services including critical applications, networks, telecommunication, call centres, hosting, intranet/internet sites; delivers business and corporate funded project; and overseas the delivering of services provided by technology service providers such as Cenitex.
About the Role
Some of your duties will include:
- Providing expert advice on privacy policy and practice to senior management and departmental staff.
- Contributing to the department achieving its privacy compliance obligations.
- Initiate and maintain compliance programs and activities across the department

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of the privacy-related requirements of the PDPA processes.
- Knowledge of TRIM Context would be an advantage.
- Legal or other relevant qualifications in information management are desirable.
