Position Details

  • Help shape services that support Victoria's fines system.
  • Use your contract management skills to improve performance and outcomes.
  • Lead audits, investigations and improvement work across a major service contract.
  • Work closely with senior leaders and influence important decisions.
  • Ongoing, full-time role earning $142,790 - $191,084 per year, plus super.

What you will do

As commercial manager, you will help oversee a major contract that supports the Victorian fines system.

You will monitor performance, provide advice and drive service improvements.

You will:

  • analyse contractor performance and identify emerging trends
  • develop and monitor effective performance measures and service standards
  • investigate complex compliance issues and recommend improvements
  • provide strategic advice, reports and briefings to senior leaders
  • lead regular audits and support service improvements across contracted services.

About you

A relevant tertiary qualification and/or relevant experience will be highly regarded.

You should have strong experience managing contractor performance and improving processes and outcomes.

You should also have:

  • significant experience in contract management and performance monitoring
  • strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • the ability to lead continuous improvement and strategic planning
  • excellent communication skills and the ability to build productive working relationships.
