The Recruitment Services branch within People, Safety, Culture and Communications (PSCC) provides expert advice and support to the department on all recruitment related matters, including attraction, selection, redeployment and other recruitment and retention practices. Working within the department's vision for a justice and community safety system that works together to build a safer, fairer and stronger Victoria, Recruitment Services delivers consultative, progressive, innovative, fair and ethical recruitment solutions.

About the Role:

The Recruitment Operations Officer is part of the Recruitment Operations team and provides administrative and customer service support to hiring managers, candidates and other stakeholders on a wide range of recruitment related matters. 

The Recruitment Operations Officer reports to both the Assistant Manager, Recruitment Operations and the Recruitment Operations Supervisor. Day-to-day supervision and support is provided by the Recruitment Operations Supervisor.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Advertising vacancies attractively and accurately, including writing, editing and proofreading job advertisements.
  • Providing high quality customer service and administrative support to internal and external stakeholders on a range of recruitment related matters.
  • Updating systems and establish and maintain accurate records using relevant systems and tools.

About You:

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience in providing administrative support and customer service, ideally within a large or complex organisation, and in working with sensitive and confidential information.
  • The ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment with high volume processing activity.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively as a team player and provide support to colleagues.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Experience in the use of e-recruitment systems to advertise vacancies and manage candidates, and in providing advice on HR policies and processes is desirable.
