Department policy stipulates that salary upon commencement is paid at the base of the salary range for the relevant grade. Any above base requests require sign off by an executive delegate and will be by exception only or where required to match the current salary of Victorian Public Service staff transferring at level.

About us

Knowledge Information & Technology Services (KITS) provides a range of Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) services for the Department of Justice (DOJ). The branch sets the strategic direction of ICT in alignment with the business direction. KITS is responsible for ICT strategies, implementation of initiatives, architectures, policies, projects, line of business applications and infrastructure services in a multi-sourced environment.

About the role

The purpose of the Change Manager is to design and apply effective control mechanisms to ICT changes. These control mechanisms include documentation, processes to mitigate risk of availability, performance, security and compliance of the business services affected.

As the Change Manager, you will:

  • monitor and assess agreed service delivery
  • develop implementation plans for dealing with more complex requests for change
  • review the effectiveness of change implementation
  • evaluate risks to integrity of the business application and infrastructure
  • undertake analysis and reporting on trends and quality control issues related to application change management within ICT function.

About you

As the Change Manager, you will have:

  • significant experience working in a large, complex organisation as an ICT change manager
  • the capacity to develop and implement processes
  • demonstrated ability to develop and clearly present complex or technical information
  • highly developed conceptual and analytical skills.

Relevant qualifications, or experience in, ICT Change Management is highly regarded.
