Position Details

About us

The Finance, Infrastructure and Governance division oversees the key public accountability requirements of the department including:

  • finance
  • procurement
  • performance reporting
  • risk, audit and integrity.

It also manages the governance of the portfolio's major infrastructure and information and communications technology projects.

About the role

The Payments Compliance and Reporting Senior Officer - Reporting (SOR) will work within the Invoice Management Team (IMT) within Finance.  The IMT is responsible for managing invoice payments within both a manual and electronic processing environment.

The position manages the Department of Justice and Regulation's Purchasing Card Compliance Program as well as assisting the Accounts Payable Manager with the general Accounts Payable functions. The occupant will also be responsible for providing a variety of reports.

About you

The successful candidate must possess a strong working knowledge of Accounts Payable functions and information flows, preferably in an Oracle and Excel environment.  Accurate communication, good problem solving skills and a strong customer service ethic are essential, as this role deals with external suppliers and internal customers.
