Position Details

About us

The Working with Children Check Unit assists in protecting children from sexual or physical harm by ensuring that people who engage in “child-related work” have their suitability to do so checked by a government body.

About the role

As the Senior Information Analyst you will be responsible for the development of a range of reports using SSRS or similar product, including the production of ad-hoc and set reports as well as the undertaking of complex analysis to support strategic decision making of the Working with Children Check Victoria (WWCCV).

This is a fixed term opportunity until November 2020 based in Box Hill.

About you

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • experience in performance monitoring and analysis frameworks, processes and reporting.
  • demonstrated experience in sourcing, analysing and interpreting data and information, presenting performance information, and in formulating effective advice and recommendations
  • advanced expertise in SQL, Excel. Crystal Reports development experience is desirable but not mandatory
  • experience in test case writing, execution and bug reporting.

A tertiary qualification in a relevant field is desirable.
