Any above base requests require sign off by an executive delegate and will be by exception only or where required to match the current salary of Victorian Public Service staff transferring at level.

Position Details

About us

Fines Victoria (FV) is responsible for the collection and enforcement of legal debt in Victoria. The fines reform model allows for the collection and enforcement of legal debts and makes clear to people who seek to avoid their responsibilities that payment of legal debts is an obligation, not an option.

About the role

As the Debt Manager, you will:

  • be accountable for leading the design and delivery of the debt performance framework
  • improve debt management, debt recovery and data integrity for both new and aged debt portfolios
  • work in collaboration with other team members to deliver strategic priorities
  • play a key role in the development, management and implementation of complex operational projects.

About you

As our ideal candidate, you will:

  • have a tertiary qualification in Finance, accounting and/or Project Management or extensive experience in a similar role
  • be an expert in debt management or collection
  • have experience in developing, implementing and evaluating projects and strategies for business improvements
  • be able to manage a small team of direct reports.
