Department policy stipulates that salary upon commencement is paid at the base of the salary range for the relevant grade. Any above base requests require sign off by an executive delegate and will be by exception only or where required to match the current salary of Victorian Public Service staff transferring at level.

About Us

The Recruitment Services branch within People and Culture provides expert advice and support to the Department of Justice and Regulation on all recruitment related matters, including attraction, selection, redeployment and other recruitment and retention practices. Working within the department's strategic objective of “building a high performing justice system”, Recruitment Services delivers consultative, progressive, innovative, fair and ethical recruitment solutions.

About the Role

As the Recruitment Campaigns Adviser, you will be accountable for the end-to-end recruitment process during campaigns and other volume recruitment activities. You will ensure that these processes run smoothly and in a timely manner, making sure that all candidates have a positive experience throughout their recruitment process with the department.

Travel to metropolitan and regional locations to conduct recruitment activities will be required.

Two ongoing positions are available.

About You

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • subject matter expertise in recruitment with demonstrated experience working in a volume or end-to-end recruitment function
  • proven experience in delivering a high quality candidate experience through the recruitment process
  • excellent problem solving, influencing and negotiation skills, along with a commitment to providing outstanding service to clients and stakeholders in order to achieve organisational objectives.
