Position Details

Strategic Communications and leadership role at the Judicial College of Victoria offers a unique opportunity.

The Judicial College of Victoria is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communications expert for a key leadership role in this small and influential organisation.

The College is a trusted place where the Victorian judiciary come to share knowledge, wisdom and expertise. We provide educational opportunities, research and publications to assist judicial officers to successfully meet the unique challenges of their roles, and to support the improvement of the justice system in Victoria and beyond.

The Director Strategic Communications will be responsible for building and developing a small, highly collaborative team, comprising communications, digital content, digital innovation, marketing and branding. They will lead and oversee all aspects of the College's communications as an integral part of the College's strategic direction, which includes improving and updating our digital presence.

While the role has a strong strategic component, the Director will also need to be able to take-on a hands on approach. They will have an interest in the sensitivities and complexities of the courts environment; and will see the potential for expert communication to expand the scope and reach of the College's work.
