About us

The Recruitment Services branch within People and Workplace Services provides expert advice and support to the department on all recruitment related matters, including attraction, selection, redeployment and other recruitment and retention practices. Working within the Department of Justice and Community Safety's strategic objective of “building a high performing justice system”, Recruitment Services delivers consultative, progressive, innovative, fair and ethical recruitment solutions.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Talent, the Recruitment Team Leader, Youth Justice (YJ) ensures overall delivery of target hires in the YJ portfolio and is accountable for ensuring that the team effectively partners with relevant business stakeholders to produce the best possible recruitment outcome.

You will form part of the Talent Acquisition delivery leadership team and provide expert advice and guidance to your consultants and the wider group on innovative and effective recruitment solutions and stakeholder engagement.

You will be responsible for your own portfolio of roles across the YJ group and will take the lead on recruitment strategy, planning and reporting.
