You will mentor staff and assist in the development and training of lawyers in the team. While people management is the primary focus of the Deputy Managing Lawyer role, you will also provide high quality legal supervision of client service delivery and lead the design and development of relevant training, resources, systems and processes to support the ESR program's Commonwealth-based practice.
About you:
You are an experienced lawyer with an interest in people management and the ability to provide effective leadership, mentoring and support to more junior members of your team. You possess the practice experience and knowledge required to conduct and supervise complex matters, and display a willingness to develop the same skills in others.
You have well developed interpersonal skills and the capacity to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. Crucial to your success in this role will be your collaborative approach and leadership skills.
