POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Project Officer, Central Immunisation Records Victoria (CIRV) provides project management support services to assist with the requirements definition, sector consultation and implementation in preparation for the replacement of the Immunisation Provider System (ImPS) that is used by local councils and some public hospitals to manage and record administration of vaccines to Victorians. Project administration will also be required during roll out and implementation of CIRV.

The Department of Health provisions and supports ImPS, which has been in place since 1995. ImPS is a locally implemented system that is at the end of its useful life, that cannot be enhanced for current/future emerging needs and now requires replacement by a new central solution to be hosted and supported by the department. The new solution CIRV will be developed and hosted by Microsoft, utilising the COVID Vaccine Management System (CVMS) platform.

This role requires a dynamic and experienced individual who can self-manage, effectively understand and contribute to the overall project needs including, coordination and preparation for stakeholder engagement activities, sharing expert knowledge and learnings, understanding project gaps and interdependencies, identifying and mitigating delivery risks and issues, documenting deliverables, management and communications with stakeholders, and monitoring activities to provide regular reporting updates.
