About the Team

Department of Transport Land and Property Group are responsible for the management, sale, strategic direction and development of DoTs' property assets including freehold land, roads and ancillary transport infrastructure. DoT's property portfolio is a complex combination of residential, commercial, vacant land, telecommunications, out of home advertising and infrastructure assets spread across the state. The management of DoT's property portfolio requires specialised skills and knowledge in property, public land, road reserves and commercial real estate fields.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an outstanding professional to develop and manage the Department of Transports (Roads) out of home advertising portfolio. An individual with great personal integrity and enthusiasm who is keen to make a real difference and driven to deliver commercial outcomes to the State of Victoria.

About You

  • Ability to think commercially while navigating governmental processes to implement organizational objectives
  • Apply experience gained in delivering challenging agendas and a commitment to the out of home advertising industry
  • Able to build and manage trusted stakeholder relationships at all levels through respectful, influential and professional communication.
  • Apply strong commercial acumen and a passion for innovation and change
  • Apply competence in property leasing / licensing, town planning and contractual matters
  • Provide timely and sound advice on a broad range of out of home advertising and land management matters
  • Stay up to date and current of industry marketing trends, providing feedback to the Leadership team as necessary.

Maintain collaborative and effective relationships across the transport portfolio and negotiate with and influence stakeholders to remove or minimise barriers to innovation and improvement
