About Us
The Investment and Technology Group delivers strategic oversight and management of DoT's operating and infrastructure budget and provides commercial and information technology services to drive high performance and improved commercial outcomes for the State.

About the Opportunity
The Manager, Finance Systems Support Services is responsible for the delivery of support services for users of operational financial management services, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and application support.

The role ensures these support services are user-focussed and delivers innovation in regards to business process design and finance service delivery. You will provide leadership and direction to the Finance User Support Services team in delivering help desk support for all operational financial services and Level 2 and 3 support for the Department's Oracle applications and maintenance of relevant interfaces including the Contract Management System.

You will provide a high degree of customer focus and business process innovation in relation to the provision of Finance User Support Services using service reporting to manage support services.


Key Selection Criteria

  • Leadership and People Management: Builds team commitment by demonstrating personal conviction Project Delivery: Executes work tasks against plan; where plans are not defined, prioritises tasks in line with the urgency and impact of tasks.
  • Specialist Expertise: A demonstrated track record in supporting financial applications, maintaining interfaces and driving business process efficiencies.
  • Conceptual and analytical ability: Deals with concepts and complexity comfortably; Uses analytical and conceptual skills to reason through problems.

Advanced understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP functionality, Excel and experience in the use of technologies including Microsoft Outlook, share point, one drive is highly desirable.
