About the Team

This role reports to the Manager Support Systems as part of the Payroll and Systems Branch within People and Business Services. The Payroll and Systems Branch function is focused on providing business enabling services to drive a high-performance culture and to support integrated operations. 

About the Opportunity

The Department of Transport is seeking a Support Systems Officer for a 12-month, fixed term contract, based between our Kew and City offices. This role helps to support our corporate Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) which underpins core Finance, Payroll and HR activities. This role includes daily reconciliations and payment data processing, and analysis of data to identify and address issues and discrepancies.

About You

• Comfortable working in an independent capacity and be confident in your system skills and capabilities.

• Able to multi-task and prioritise tasks with proven attention to detail within agreed deadlines

• Experienced in communicating and partnering with broad stakeholders

• Skilled in ERP/Finance Systems and Microsoft Office

• Experience with Mincom Ellipse will be highly regarded
