Transport Services works to deliver across all transport modes to provide a single user interface to the transport network for Victorians.

About the Opportunity

Working out of our Port Melbourne office, we are seeking a Traffic Harmonisation Specialist on a full time ongoing basis.

Reporting to the Manager, Field Operations, this role will be responsible for providing input, influence and collaboration with Austroads, Standards Australia and other State Road Authorities to represent DoT interests and traffic management expertise to the National Traffic Management Harmonisation Project.

About You

Ideally you will possess:

• The ability to establish, develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Experience in developing strategy to implement a reasonably complex change management plan, including effective use of communication tools and appropriate action to support individuals and teams through the change process.

• Ability to apply creative and advanced problem-solving skills to determine priorities, manage tasks under pressure and to budget.

• Negotiation and influencing skills to both internal and external stakeholders to ensure DoT interests are met.

• Works to create an environment where accountability, teamwork, customer focus and innovation are a focus of the team.
