People & Capability Administrator
Department of Parliamentary Services

  • Fixed Term, full time opportunity until June 2026
  • PoV Grade 3.1, $79,122 - $87,599 + 11.5% superannuation

Due to an internal secondment, we are seeking expressions of interest for the role of People & Capability Administrator within the People & Capability unit at the Victorian Parliament.

About the role
The People & Capability Administrator will play a key role in supporting the administration of recruitment and selection processes across the Parliament of Victoria, including:

  • Provide administrative support to recruitment and selection activities including posting job advertisements, coordinating interviews, and preparing onboarding documentation
  • Coordinate the processing of pre-employment checks for prospective candidates
  • Triage and respond to general HR queries, escalating matters to the relevant leads as required

About you

We are on the lookout for someone who has a demonstrated understanding of the HR function and an interest in talent acquisition, alongside:

  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and manage competing work priorities
  • Well-developed communication & interpersonal skills
  • Teamwork and flexibility, with an ability to work with direction as well as use initiative and work autonomously
