About the role

A new opportunity is available to join the Strategic Sourcing team and lead the communications, change and engagement process as the Government transitions its vehicle fleet to Zero Emmission Vehicles (ZEV's). The opportunity is a fixed term contract that will run till 30/06/2023.

The position is key in helping to lead the change activities ensuring the change initiatives meet objects. You will also lead the communications and engagement activities to ensure key stakeholders are informed and that we maximise the adoption and usage of the (EAV's).

The key accountabilities are:

  • Manage the communications, change management and engagement activities for the project with key Government stakeholders, including Strategic Sourcing team members, Project Working Group Members, key Departmental contacts, environment managers, including key external service providers, in order to achieve program delivery outcomes.
  • Develop a communications plan with key deliverables that align with the broader project plan.
  • Deliver change and engagement strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance.
  • Develop and lead implementation of practical communications strategies, to influence stakeholders at a collective and individual level and work proactively and effectively in a team environment.

About you

You will be a highly focused and driven person who is passionate about delivering change and communication activities. To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate the following:

  • Experience in change management/transformation and communications, with a demonstrated ability to adapt concepts/theory to practical, innovative implementation of plans/strategies.
  • Proven expertise in managing change in large organisations.
  • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated ability to work productively, respectfully and sensitively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly developed communication skills, including an ability to communicate and present high quality and complex information to a range of audiences.
  • Strong collaboration skills with a proven track record in effectively managing complex stakeholder communication activities.
