Position Details

 

The SSP team delivers property, car pool and library shared services to a range of client department and agencies across the Victorian Government. SSP strives to be a shared service provider of choice, achieving value for the Victorian Public Sector by delivering strategic, client focused services.

The Shared Service Provider (SSP) is seeking an enthusiastic and high performing candidate to fill an ongoing senior VPS role to lead effective stakeholder relationship management and business development strategies and activities that support business growth and reform goals.

 

As part of the Engagement and Business Development team, the successful candidate will:
• lead SSP's Customer Relationship Management function, developing and implementing SSP relationship and business development strategies that consider the full client lifecycle;
• manage a small team of SSP Relationship Managers to ensure they work in a seamless, integrated and collaborative way with other members of the team and business partners;
• ensure SSP has a holistic awareness and understanding across its business of client and whole of government priorities, challenges and opportunities to provide accurate and timely information to relevant SSP staff and business partners engaging with clients;
• be a key strategic interface and relationship manager for complex client portfolios, actively engaging stakeholders and proactively promoting SSP services to achieve growth targets; and
• apply high level influencing and negotiation skills to advise and support clients to develop client shared service strategies across the SSP portfolio to meet current and emerging business needs;
• monitor and analyse SSP's shared service performance and support effective reporting at both a client and whole of government level against service level agreements; and
• research contemporary service delivery developments and collaborate internally to identify and develop value add shared service innovations, efficiency improvements, and opportunities for improved synergies across SSP programs and client portfolios.
