Position Details

DTF is looking to fill a Fixed Term, VPS 5.2 Role as a Database Administrator.

The Information and Technology services is responsible for providing application support to the business internal DTF and external government agencies.

In this role, you will

  • Manage and conduct all aspects of capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning of databases
  • Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required
  • Install and configure database systems, patches and upgrades
  • Design and implement new database and associated objects

To be successful in this role you will have experience in:

  • Database software/web applications
  • Familiarity with main data manipulation languages and principles of database design
  • Worked on database design
  • Knowledge of other Oracle products such as OBIEE, OAM and SOA

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Oracle Database Certification
  • Oracle Certified Associate (OCA)/Oracle Certified professional (OCP)
