Position Details

The Victorian Public Service is looking for three high performing Chief Financial Officer's to join the Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF), supporting one of the following departments; Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions (DJPR) or Department of Transport (DOT) or Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS).

As Chief Financial Officer, you will report to the Secretary of the Department of Treasury and Finance, and a relevant departmental Deputy Secretary, on the financial performance of your department, ensuring all reporting requirements are met and that strong financial outcomes are achieved for the State.

As an Executive Officer, you will lead your department's finance team ensuring the highest levels of data accuracy and meaningful financial advice is being provided. You will work collaboratively with colleagues from across the public service and contribute to whole of government initiatives.

As a public servant, you will align to relevant governance and risk frameworks and transparent operational practices. Strong relationship building skills, responsiveness and integrity will ensure success in this role.
