About the role

Projects need skilled people and effective systems to make them happen. This crucial role will work collaboratively with a team to strengthen and build the workforce capacity, and project systems, needed to support the delivery of public infrastructure projects.

The Victorian Government's pipeline of major projects will transform the way Victorian's live, work, learn and enjoy our state. The successful person will be highly organised and can balance several competing priorities. The role will contribute to research into new initiatives and coordinate a variety of project related tasks to address workforce gaps, improve project systems, and build relationships across industry and government.

About the Office of Projects Victoria

The Office of Projects Victoria (OPV) leads and influences excellence in project delivery, so that projects are delivered on time and on budget, and the full benefits of the investment are realised for Victorians. OPV does this by providing trusted independent advice to the Victorian Government.

The organisation provides project portfolio oversight and assurance, improvements to how projects are delivered, independent advice and targeted support, training and advice to project leaders.
