About the Role

As the Director Communications and Engagement, you will drive organisational excellence by providing authoritative advice and influential corporate leadership, ensuring strategic and operational communications and engagement effort strengthens aligned delivery of EPA's organisational strategy. This will translate into high levels of understanding and participation by community and business in preventing and managing environmental and human health risk from pollution and waste.

  • Reporting to the Executive Director, Strategy People Performance, you will work closely with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team and the Senor Leadership Team to influence best practice communications and engagement to support EPAs role as a world class regulator of pollution and waste.
  • You will apply your significant internal and external communications and engagement leadership experience through reform to a genuinely collaborative approach to effective planning for and implementation of significant organisational change.
  • The Director Communications and Engagement is a member of the Strategy People Performance Directorate Leadership Group, oversees four business units with up to approximately 45 staff in total.

Melbourne Office: 200 Victoria Street, Carlton VIC 3053 Carlton or one of the other EPA office may be considered/negotiated with the preferred candidate
