About the role:
Victoria Police is currently advertising one (1) Full Time, Ongoing, VPSG-2, Administrative/Property Officer position within Southern Metro Region, Division Four. This is a fast-paced role, and we are seeking an individual who is highly motivated, energetic, and self-driven to join our team. The successful applicant will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively within a team environment.
The successful applicant's primary role will be to provide a high level of Administrative/Property Officer support to members within the Division, with duties based at the Rosebud Police Station. Rosebud Police Station forms part of the Mornington Peninsula Police Service Area and supports members from Rosebud, Dromana, Rye and Sorrento Police Stations. The area encompasses a diverse range of challenges and opportunities for its staff and provides an ideal and supportive environment for any successful applicant.

Your duties will include:
- Processing of incoming and outgoing briefs of evidence and routine correspondence including quality control and processing of urgent and complex court documents.
- Issuing, updating, completing, and archiving of confidential records and accountable documents in a timely manner.
- Providing high level administrative support including banking, filing & general office duties to Police personnel as needed/directed.
- Providing advice to internal and external agencies on a range of Police administrative matters.
- Undertaking a range of functions around the receipt, management, and disposal of lost or seized property items in accordance with Police policy and relevant legislation.
About You:
The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated experience in providing high level administrative services in a confidential environment.
- Great interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively within a dynamic team environment.
- Ability to communicate well with key internal and external stakeholders using a variety of communication channels and platforms.
- Ability to maintain systematic and accurate administrative records
- The ability to interpret and apply legislation, policy, and procedures.
- An ability to prioritise work and meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision and possess a commitment to high service delivery standards.
- General computer/Microsoft Office skills.
- Show initiative and proactive work practices.
- Be adaptable to change.
Further Information:
- One (1) x full-time, ongoing position available.
- This position is located at Rosebud Police Station, 95 Boneo Road, Rosebud, VIC, 3939.
- However, the successful applicant may be required to work out of any location within Southern Metro Region, Division Four.
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
- The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
