- Shaping and improving service delivery, including defining required service types, quality, costs, and performance measures.
- Establishing clear Service Principles across all service domains.
- Leading the preparation of specifications, procurement documentation, and contracts that align to these principles.
- Monitoring supplier performance, analysing data, and managing contract variations where required.
- Overseeing governance, compliance, and reporting, including preparing clear and high‑quality briefings for executive leadership and funding bodies.
- Identifying and mitigating operational and commercial risks.
- Ensuring adherence to procurement policies, legislation, and audit requirements.
- Building strong engagement with internal stakeholders, contractors, and industry partners to drive high‑quality outcomes.
- Contributing to a positive, collaborative, and improvement‑focused team environment.
About You:
You are an organised, commercially astute contract professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working with diverse stakeholders. You bring sound judgment, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving:
Ideally, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience managing service, maintenance, or facility‑related contracts.
- Solid knowledge of procurement processes and contract administration.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and negotiation skills.
- Experience identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities.
- Tertiary qualifications and relevant accreditations in construction, facilities management, or project management.
- A current driver licence to attend site visits.
- Commitment to supporting the Division's strategic goals — focusing on people, customer centricity, innovation, and collaboration.
