About the roles:

Victoria Police is seeking two (2) Senior Project Officers, performing the roles of Facility Managers that lead teams that maintain facilities for Victoria Police.

Both roles are based in the Victoria Police Centre in Melbourne. The Victoria Police Centre role manages the Victorian Police Headquarters, the Victorian Police Centre. The North-West Metro role manages facilities across the North West Region (Eltham to Laverton).

Senior Project Officers, performing the role of Facility Managers that lead teams in delivering maintenance, managing contractors, stakeholders, and customers. The Senior Project Officer Victoria Police Centre also leads the team delivering the services, mail, reception, deliveries and concierge.

The Senior Project Officer for the facility management of North West reports to the Manager Facilities. The Senior Project Officer for facility management of Victoria Police Centre reports to Manager Victoria Police Centre.

Your duties will include:

  • Leadership of the team in delivering great outcomes
  • Facility maintenance of the Victoria Police Centre
  • Delivery of facility services, concierge, reception, mail room and delivers.
  • Management of works, contractors and consultants for Victoria Police Centre

As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Managing and leading people.
  • Managing stakeholders, especially executives
  • Facility Maintenance and Services.
  • Facility Security
  • Relevant tertiary qualification is preferred.
  • A strong commitment to Operational Infrastructure Department's strategy goals - supporting our people and embracing customer centricity, innovation and collaboration in our delivery of services.

Requirements and relevant information:

  • Two (2) x full-time, ongoing position available.
  • Both positions are located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
  • The successful applicant will be required to undergo National Security Vetting, achieve and maintain a security classification as determined by the Department Head. To achieve this, applicants must be an Australian Citizen.
  • The successful applicant will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
