Position Details

About the role:

This is a clinical role with a key focus on supporting and delivering mental health and wellbeing initiatives within Victoria Police. In addition to providing direct clinical services, such as facilitating therapeutic group programs, you will also play an important part in coordinating and supporting projects that enhance healthcare services. You will apply your clinical expertise to help design, deliver, and evaluate programs that meet the evolving needs of the organisation, while collaborating with a range of stakeholders to ensure projects run smoothly and achieve meaningful outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to blend hands-on clinical work with project support in a dynamic and impactful environment.

Your duties will include:

  • Designing and delivering mental health and wellbeing programs that meet emerging needs
  • Coordinating project activities, ensuring clear communication and timely delivery
  • Gathering and analysing information to guide program improvements
  • Producing accessible reports and updates for stakeholders
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships across teams and external partners
  • Ensuring all work complies with legislation, ethical practices, and organisational policies

About You:

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience: 

  • Clinical expertise and experience applying your skills independently in sensitive situations
  • Project management skills that enable you to balance competing priorities effectively
  • Clear communication and engagement with others to achieve positive outcomes
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and emerging trends to inform clinical interventions
  • Motivation to support mental health and wellbeing in a complex organisational environment
  • Hold relevant professional registration

Further Information:

  • One (1) x full-time, fixed term position available (23 months)
  • This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
  • Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
  • The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
