About the role:

Victoria Police have an exciting opportunity for a Change Manager to work as part of a specialised team to implement two large IT systems, Enterprise Rostering and Electronic Document Records Management System (EDRMS) designed to better support employees.

This role sits within the Project Delivery Division of Digital Services & Security Department and will report to the Change Lead for the projects.

As the Change Manager you will work with key stakeholders from across Victoria Police. You will be responsible for leading the change management activities and integration of these activities into the project delivery plans.

Your duties will include:

  • Development and execution of the change management plan and supporting training approach
  • Leading and managing deployment, coordination, and communication activities
  • Undertaking assessments and evaluating the impact of change including, identifying risks and mitigation strategies
  • Maintaining overall accountability for the planning and execution of change management and training activities
  • Identifying and actively engaging with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to understand their potential concerns, issues, and perceptions
  • Managing communication and change activities to enable adoption and effective usage of both solutions
  • Reporting to various stakeholders and governance bodies

As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Proven experience in a change management role, designing and delivering change management interventions, preferably within complex IT transformation projects
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work on a range of deliverables at the same time and produce quality outcomes within specific timeframes
  • Strong document creation, editing and presentation skills, with great attention to detail, specifically using MS Work, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Proven ability to monitor client and stakeholder satisfaction and constructively manage stakeholder issues to ensure positive outcomes

Requirements and relevant information:

  • One (1) x full-time, fixed term position available.
  • This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
  • Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
  • In accordance with the Acting Chief Health Officer's Direction – COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination (Workers) Directions, you are required to be fully vaccinated (this includes a booster vaccination) and your employment with Victoria Police is subject to proof of vaccination.
  • The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
