Position Details
About the role:
The Digital Education team is responsible for the development and delivery of digital learning content for the organisation. As the successful applicant, you will report to the Digital Production Manager and work closely with internal stakeholders. You must be a creative individual with demonstrated experience in 2D and 3D graphic design, motion design, animation, and the development of interactive content for digital platforms.
This is a key role in a small but busy unit so excellent time management, and the ability to prioritise is essential.

Your duties will include:
- Prepare and develop design concepts and project proposals in response to client briefs
- Lead and participate in team concept and storyboard development of projects
- Conduct and lead graphic design research and development for all digital production projects
- Design and develop graphics for posters, videos, motion graphics, animations, and digital content
As the successful applicant, you will have:
- Demonstrated skills in the design, development, and production of promotional and training material
- 2D and 3D graphic design, motion design, and animation skills
- Excellent Mac OS skills
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud suite
- Understanding and ability to apply current design trends, while exhibiting a keen eye for design, detail, and high-quality aesthetics
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to form strong professional relationships with stakeholders
- Proactive approach, with proven ability to manage projects and deliver within short timeframes
- Proven ability to work in a team environment, collaborate and work autonomously as needed
- A relevant tertiary qualification in digital production and relevant industry experience in a similar role would be highly regarded.
Requirements and relevant information:
- One (1) x full-time, fixed-term position until 30/06/2024 is available.
- This position is located at Victoria Police Academy, 1 View Mount Road, Glen Waverley.
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
- The successful applicant will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
