Position Details

About the role:

Your experience and knowledge of the UKG Pro WFM product will help Victoria Police design, configure and test a rostering, timesheets and leave solution for 22,000 employees at a complex and dynamic organisation.

You will provide input and expertise to the solution design, help plan and execute testing and the transition to production, and impart knowledge to project teams, system users and administrators.

This role reports to the Enterprise Rostering and Timesheets Project's Senior Project Manager with input and influence across the project and its stakeholders, including business analysis, solution design and architecture, data, integration and change management.

Your duties will include:

  • Review and/or propose solution designs and configuration and advise how they will meet Victoria Police's business requirements based on your experience and product knowledge
  • Advise the project team and internal stakeholders on UKG Pro WFM features, functions and usage
  • Transfer knowledge and skills to project team members and other Victoria Police colleagues
  • Contribute to test planning, data preparation, and set up activities for testing, and participate in all phases of testing
  • Identify and resolve or propose resolutions to system, data and process problems, including defects
  • Contribute to transition to production planning and to transition activities

About You:

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience: 

  • Experience using, supporting and/or configuring UKG Pro WFM, ideally through an implementation project
  • Communication skills for presentations and stakeholder engagements, knowledge transfer, and for distilling complex information to assist others to understand issues, concepts and decisions
  • Written communication skills for writing strategies, configuration documentation, system guides and procedures
  • Skills in negotiating with and influencing stakeholders at all levels

Further Information:

  • One (1) x full-time, fixed position available to 31 December 2027.
  • This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
  • The successful applicant will be required to undergo National Security Vetting to achieve and maintain a Baseline security classification. To achieve this applicants must be an Australian Citizen.

  • The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
