Position Details

We are seeking an energetic Customer Service Officer to perform a range of duties at the VBA within the Enquiries, Inspections and Complaints - Customer Services team, primarily servicing the contact centre's enquiries face-to-face, by phone or email.

 Key Selection Criteria

To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Ability to deliver effective customer services
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to utilise set reference tools 
  • Proficient in the use of Information technology tools, including Microsoft Office and experience in the use of databases
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Excellent ability to organise and self-manage your workload 
  • Experience in working within a legislative or regulatory environment is desirable.

Salary Details

Base salary in the Grade 2 range of $50,077 - $64,307 per annum (plus 9.5% super), will be negotiated with the successful candidate, depending on skills and experience.
