Position Details

The Scheduling Officer is responsible for scheduling audits and inspections of regulated plumbing work for which the VBA has received a plumbing compliance certificate. The role also provides support to the Scheduling Co-ordintor, and liaises with internal and external stakeholders to effectively facilitate the plumbing audit and inspection process.  

Key Selection Criteria

To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Experience in the provision of high-level administrative support within a corporate environment.
  • Deliver high levels of customer service including proactively identifying customer requirements and remaining calm under pressure.
  • High level verbal and written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to deal effectively with a range of internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilise set templates and follow processes and procedures accurately.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team to achieve outputs and agreed deliverables.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Information Technology tools.
  • Ability to organise, prioritise and self-manage workload in a deadline driven environment.
  • Ability to proactively identify opportunities for generating workplace innovation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and taking responsibility for initiating outcomes.
  • Experience in working within a legislative or regulatory environment and/or in a relevant industry profession is desirable.

Salary Details

Salary package 2.1 in the range of $50,077-$57,192 per annum prorated (plus 9.5% super), will be negotiated with the successful candidate, depending on skills and experience.
