Department policy stipulates that salary upon commencement is paid at the base of the salary range for the relevant grade. Any above base requests require sign off by an executive delegate and will be by exception only or where required to match the current salary of Victorian Public Service staff transferring at level.

An exciting opportunity exists for an ongoing, full-time Regional Manager, Sheriff's Operations in the Gippsland Region.

The Regional Manager, Sheriff's operations leads a regional team of Sheriff's officers in the delivery of enforcement services that focus on the efficient processing of outstanding civil and criminal warrants. The Regional Manager plays a key role in the planning and strategic management of Sheriff's Operations and effectively manages resources to achieve annual performance targets for Sheriff's Operations and regional service delivery.

As a member of the Senior Management team, the Regional Manager is a pivotal role in promoting high levels of community engagement with working with Koori and culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities, other enforcement agencies and other stakeholders. The Regional Manager also frequently collaborates with other Department of Justice and Regulation business units and program areas.
