Position Details
Program Officer
- Support management and delivery of the Digital Radio Upgrade Program Stage 2 (DRUP2)
- Challenging and engaging role
- VPSG 4, Full-time Fixed Term 2 years
EMV has a wonderful opportunity for an experienced and highly competent Program Officer to support the delivery of DRUP2.
Key accountabilities include:
- Support the EMV program team to manage and deliver DRUP2, including:
- Manage, track and report on program financial status, and program artefacts, as per departmental requirements.
- Manage and maintain program SharePoint and documentation, including control and probity registers, whilst proactively streamlining processes as required.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure they are aware of upcoming scheduled program activities, such as Program Control Group, Steering Committee meetings, workshops and milestones and their approvals where required.
- Organise meetings across various stakeholder groups (Emergency Service Organisations, State advisors, State vendors) including preparation and sending of meeting agendas, creation and finesse of presentation material, meeting minutes and timely follow-up of action items.
- Assist in the maintenance of key program artefacts, such as the program management plan, master schedule and budget.
- Manage the program probity requirements, including maintaining the program probity management plan, probity registers, stakeholder compliance and conflict of interest and confidentiality management.
- Provide administration and management of the programs SharePoint and MS Teams, as well as Outlook calendar management and the DJCS platform TRIM.
- Prepare and submit briefs on behalf of the program team for numerous stakeholders across different levels of government including executives, as per departmental guidelines.
To be successful you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in providing program/project support services including financial status tracking and reporting, project administration tasks, management of program registers (actions, risk, issues).
- Proficient in management of program/project co-ordination using Microsoft Teams, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Project and Microsoft 365.
- Demonstrated experience in development of Governmental written communication such as Departmental briefs, financial reporting, program/project status reports and executive briefs
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Early Retirement Scheme:
A re-employment restriction of one year applies to all recipients of an Early Retirement Scheme package from the VPS.
