The Role:

The Enterprise Solution Architect builds a holistic view of the organisation's strategy, processes, information and information technology assets, ensuring that the business and Information and Communications Technology (ICT) are in alignment, and links the business mission, strategy and processes to the Strategic Technology Roadmap.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain current and future Enterprise Solution Architecture in support of the business strategy and technology initiatives.
  • Define the Enterprise Solution Architecture and principles to guide the implementation of services within the organisation, maximising business benefit.
  • Provide high level strategic advice for future investment in ICT systems and processes to support business objectives as aligned to the overall Enterprise Solution Architecture.
  • In the area of Enterprise Architecture, represent the interests of Cenitex and its customers across the Victorian Public Sector, ensuring outcomes maintain a reputation for excellence.
  • Articulate the desired future state for Cenitex infrastructure in the context of customer requirements aligned to the Victorian Government ICT strategy
  • Undertake high level research, horizon scanning and analysis to identify future ICT trends and opportunities to close identified gaps between current and future state to meet VPS customer requirements.

Key Skills:

  • Significant proven experience as an Enterprise Solution Architect
  • Extensive and broad experience in multiple architectural domains, such as Security, Networks, IDAM, Collaboration and Mobility.
  • Extensive experience in working with third party solution providers to design large scale, multi customer solutions
  • Knowledge of key industry and technology trends and the range of ICT vendor solutions.
  • Strategic thinker and commercially astute, with an ability to see the ‘big picture' and deliver outcomes in accordance with strategic direction.Certified in an appropriate architecture framework such as TOGAF EA / SABSA Framework
  • Degree in relevant technology or business areas including Enterprise Solution, Business, Information and Technology Architecture.
