About the Role

As part of a large multidisciplined HR team, the HR Business Partner operates in a true partnership role offering strategic guidance and support to designated people leaders on a range of short and longer term inititives such as forumulation of HR plans aligned to the achievement of business outcomes, workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, capability development, wellbeing and facilitating culture change.

This is a senior role for an experienced human resources professional who wants to contribute to the success of the EPA as it enters a new era of environmental protection in Victoria. Working closely with the Manager, People and Performance, you will actively contribute to a positive organisational culture and achieve the highest standards of performance and integrity.

About You:

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Tertiary qualifications in human resources management or other relevant discipline

- Sound knowledge of employment related legislation and EA interpretation e.g. Fair Work Act, Public Administration, OHS Act etc.

- Knowledge and skills in a diverse range of human resources specialties including, coaching skills, selection techniques, conflict resolution, investigations, workforce, and succession planning, change management, employee relations and health, safety and wellbeing.

- Demonstrated experience and success in actively contributing to driving and delivering cultural change and people initiatives in evolving contexts.

- Proven ability to apply relevant government legislation, regulations, reporting directives and procedures, to achieve optimal organisational outcomes.
