Position Details

An exciting opportunity for Permissioning Officers in Approvals, Licensing, and Permitting teams

  • All the roles are term contracts to 30 June 2023.
  • Part-time or full-time hours.
  • Immediate start.

A Permissioning Officer Approvals at EPA will:

Assess applications and issue development licences, issue designations, and assess and determine complex emergency discharge applications under the Environment Protection Act 2017, aligned to EPA's strategic priorities to prevent harm to Victorian communities and the environment from pollution and waste.

About You:

To be successful in this role you will possess a relevant tertiary degree (science, engineering, etc) and/or post graduate qualifications /experience in permissioning, preferably within Government.

Your capabilities will include project management skills and demonstrated capability to plan, monitor and deliver services and support consistent with organisational priorities, including risk identification and management
