About the Strategy Division:

EPA's Strategy Division is led by a group of highly committed regulatory and environmental professionals. The Division brings together critical functions that together serve the Victorian community by preventing harm to human health and the environment. The Division does so by bringing together multi-disciplinary teams to understand and resolve regulatory problems. These problems do not have one solution - they require methodical, progressive and diverse strategies.

This Senior Program Manager will:

  • Have strong capability in regulating major/complex projects
  • Work collaboratively with others to ensure timely delivery of priority permissioning assessments and projects
  • Model positive behaviours and support colleagues in their work
  • Represent the EPA in engaging with the community, government and industry to help protect our environment and human health from pollution and waste.

We are looking for people who:

  • Contribute positively to an inclusive and collaborative team culture
  • Manage complex projects and can prioritise competing deadlines
  • Have experience with major infrastructure projects and/or spoil management planning
  • Have excellent professional written and verbal communication
  • Hold strong stakeholder management skills
