Position Details

Position Title

Strategic Planning Team Leader

About the Role:

  • The role is responsible for. a team of planners delivering EPA's Land use Planning assessment and advice
  • The role leads the allocation, quality assurance and timely delivery of strategic planning priorities
  • The priorities are delivered in accordance with the Planning and Environment Act 1987, with a focus on the environment, human health and amenity
  • The role supports the development of land use planning capability across EPA and externally
  • The role leads EPA's involvement in priority Planning Panels and other consultative processes where EPA can positively influence planning outcomes


To be Successful in this Role:

  • You will need to demonstrate your experience in Strategic Land use Planning, focussed on environmental and human health risk assessment 
  • You will need to demonstrate strong leadership skills and experience in managing teams
  • You will need to demonstrate effective communication, particularly your ability to consult, lead and influence others to achieve desired outcomes.
