Position Details

Manager, Broderick Road Clean Up

Fixed Term, 2 years (until July 2021)

EPA has planning well underway for the mammoth task of cleaning up the huge stockpile of waste at Broderick Road, Lara and is establishing a dedicated team to be based onsite to deliver the project.

We are seeking a leader who will work with this small team, supported across EPA, to effectively deliver the project on time and within cost targets, while achieving a high standard of safety for our staff and the community, all in an environmentally sensitive way.

The role sits within the South West Region, will report to the Regional Manager and will be accountable for providing effective hands on leadership to the project team through direct line management and across the organisation to achieve the project objectives.

You will also have highly developed project management, leadership and engagement skills, and experience in government and environmental regulation.  You will lead EPA's presence throughout the program lifecycle; informing and educating business, government and the community on the progress.

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team, working collaboratively with other senior managers and cross-organisational teams coupled with demonstrated ability to manage complex relationships with government and community are essential in this role.

Candidates should also possess analytical, conceptual and structured thinking, an ability to communicate at all levels and have sound financial and commercial acumen.
