Job summary

In this role you will be:
- Contributing to the effective administration of the VEU program, particularly in the area of project-based activities (PBA) methods (e.g. measurement & verification) and energy efficient product applications.
- Managing assigned deliverables under the Commission's obligations under law with respect to the Government's VEU legislation.
- Following business processes which support program participants' involvement and uphold program compliance.
- Providing expert technical advice to the VEU team relating to the administration of PBA, product applications and other technical activities under the VEU program.
Position details
The Senior Analyst is responsible for the following:
- Assess PBA projects, product and other TSG applications to agreed efficiency, quality and timeliness standards.
- Assist the TSG leadership team to manage the quality of assessments undertaken by junior team members.
- Provide guidance, mentor junior team members, and educate VEU staff on technical issues as required.
- Undertake research and analysis on various relevant technical issues as required.
- Provide advice to program participants and other government and industry stakeholders on technical topics relating to TSG technical administration.
- Prepare reports, consultation papers, guidelines and decisions on matters relating to our administration.
- Work effectively with minimum guidance as part of multi-disciplinary teams established to support the administration of VEU and to meet the requirements of the commission's overall work program.
- Other duties as required.
