The Economist role will contribute to economic insights for the Essential Services Commission, Victoria’s energy industry regulator. The Economist will, in collaboration with the Manager Reviews and other senior commission staff, explore a range of topics by conducting economics-focused research and analyses. More specifically, the role offers opportunities to work on a range of projects to support the commission’s role in assessing the competitiveness of the Victorian energy retail market and reviewing/revising the energy rules.
