Position details

The Senior Digital Communication Adviser is responsible for managing the commission's website and intranet, and providing strategic communication advice to the Senior Manager, Strategic Communication, directors and other members of the organisation on internal and external digital channels.

The Senior Digital Communication Adviser needs to be able to quickly comprehend complex issues and translate them into simple messages easily understood by the target audience. The position will manage projects with input from a range of internal and external stakeholders and will need to understand government processes, regulated businesses and the digital environment.

We are Victoria's independent economic regulator of essential services supplied by a range of industries. The commission's functions include:

• making regulatory decisions with respect to prescribed industries (including price determinations, licensing, customer protection and access disputes);

• undertaking reviews and providing advice to Ministers on a range of economic and regulatory matters; and

• administering the Victorian Energy Efficiency Target scheme.
