Position Details

The position is responsible for:

  • Leading a team of 4 enforcement staff, dedicated to strategically investigating non-compliance and taking effective deterrent action
  • Collaborating with other VEU teams to detect and prevent non-compliance and protect the integrity of the VEU program
  • Advising on priorities, enforcement approaches and taking action including penalty notices, enforceable undertakings and litigation

This is a fixed term position for 12 months. The work location for this position is 570 Bourke Street, Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.

The Essential Services Commission is Victoria's independent economic regulator of essential services supplied by a range of industries. The commission's functions include:
