The Manager, Environmental Compliance leads a regionally based team in providing high quality environmental compliance and will be responsible for improving the protection of forests and wildlife by reforming our approach to regulatory compliance.  The position is responsible for achieving business excellence and building a high performing culture in providing environmental regulation, compliance and enforcement programs in the region, consistent with statewide policies, strategies and operating standards.

If you have a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the processes and levers that apply to government, including legislative frameworks, as well as a sound understanding of sustainable environmental management principles and familiarity with the management and regulatory frameworks, you are strongly encouraged to apply. An appropriate qualification in science, law, natural resource management and an understanding of regulation, compliance and legislation is highly desirable.

There are six ongoing positions, one in each region. The location within each region is negotiable.
