The Planning Officer will support project delivery for implementation of key priorities under Safer Together – the Victorian Government's policy direction for bushfire management. The position will support and coordinate communication, engagement and reporting of Safer Together planning projects and initiatives across multiple agencies. Providing support and advice to engagement, monitoring, research and risk specialists, ensuring that information and case studies are shared to support new planning processes and risk tools across the state will also form part of this role.

If you have demonstrable ability to develop and implement planning frameworks and processes you are strongly encouraged to apply. A relevant tertiary degree is desirable.

This is a fixed term position available until 30 June 2019.

The position location is negotiable within the Gippsland Region.
