The VRET Engagement Officer will play an important role in working with the community, key stakeholders and renewable energy proponents to assist the delivery of renewable energy projects by providing overall management and oversight for community engagement and stakeholder management strategies. The work will be shaped by the DELWP communications and community engagement plan for the Renewable Energy Program and will involve working with regional and energy policy officers within an agreed engagement framework determined by negotiables and non-negotiables.

If you have experience in the application of community engagement and community development principles and practices and well developed interpersonal skills, you are strongly encouraged to apply. A demonstrated ability to facilitate large and small group using appropriate techniques is also required.

This is a fixed term position until 30 June 2020.
