Position Summary:

 

As the Global Budget Manager in the Strategy Planning and Coordination team for the Family Violence and Sexual Assault Policy and Programs (FVSAPP) Unit, you will be required to develop and maintain a robust financial planning, budgeting and forecasting process for the Unit and provide insightful reporting and strategic advice to the FVSAPP leadership team and to the wider organisation.

 

Core functions and responsibilities include:

 

  • Day to day management of centrally held budget for FVSAPP
  • Day to day management and provision of advice, relationship management and direction to DHHS local areas, finance and other corporate areas in relation to the family violence and sexual assault funded sector. This includes:
    • Development of funding structure and policies in relation to funded activities 
    • Provision of advice in relation to funding, agency performance management and oversight
    • Provision of strategic advice for funding allocations and rollout of key initiatives. 
    • Management of data advice, capability, reporting, forecasting, system intelligence and data analysis and insights.
    • Provision of advice on budget strategy in relation to budget bids, investment logic and direct responsibility for key interfaces with central agencies on issues related to FVSAPP investment
