Film Victoria, in collaboration with Docklands Studios Melbourne, ACMI and Creative Victoria will be responsible for leading the implementation of VICSCREEN - a whole of Victorian Government plan to reshape and expand Victoria's screen industry.

About this opportunity

As we prepare for the next exciting chapter as an organisation, we require a member of the games community with sound knowledge and understanding of the Australian games industry to come and join our team.   We need someone who has worked and gained proven experience in games development in one or more roles, and we would be really interested to hear from you if you gained this experience in Victoria.

You will be:

  • An experienced and strategically minded professional with hands on experience in producing or creating games.
  • Great at building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders and able to utilise these skills to increase the profile of Victorian games and digital content. 
  • Adaptable and proactive with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
  • Someone who thrives in a busy and deadline driven work environment.

Qualifications, Expertise and Attributes essential for this role include:

  • Substantial and current experience in the games industry.
  • Demonstrated high level communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Distribution, sales and market knowledge.
  • Demonstrated experience in working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in designing and implementing systems and procedures to ensure work efficiency and completeness, including the ability to prioritise tasks, track progress, plan ahead and to anticipate and adjust for potential problems.
