We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Durector- Planning Services in the Infrastucture, Strategy & Planning group.

This role is responsible for leading the service provision and business improvement focus of the Planning Services team. The successful candidate will lead a team of professionals to provide high quality, reliable and timely statutory planning advice to facilitate the efficient development of places across areas of Victoria, including greenfields, established Melbourne and the regions.

The VPA has an exciting program of work and an important role to play in achieving more homes and jobs for Victorian communities.  This includes determining and influencing the embedding of new streamlined processes and building and maintaining key relationships with strategic partners across government. The role provides leadership within and outside the VPA in respect of statutory solutions for high change areas and coordinates with our partners to ensure a clear and robust regulatory environment that must operate in a more streamlined and efficient way.

All VPA staff will transfer into DTP and the VPA will become its own group within DTP. This transfer of employment is anticipated to occur on 1 February 2025.
